As some of you may know, I was directly connected with the Swiss company GEOCOGEN AG in previous years. I left as a result of what I would term fiscal mismanagement by the majority owner. I won’t go into details in order to avoid a potential law suit.

But to backstop my opinion, the company was found to be incapable of paying its bills and on the 17th of June, 2014, the judge of the Court of the Canton of Zug has opened the bankruptcy of the company, and has dissolved the company. The name GEOCOGEN AG is no longer useable and the assets (if any) of the previous company are now controlled by the Court under the name “GEOCOGEN AG in Liquidation”.

Good riddance!

A copy of the online extract from the Canton Zug Commercial Register (Handelsregister in German) is attached. You can find it for yourself by going to and enter the original company name GEOCOGEN AG. Then when you have the choice to view the response in html or pdf. That is where the extract below comes from, current as of today, 30 July 2014.

You will see that my participation is marked through with a date of 31 January 2012. I resigned in November 2011, but I was forced to terminate my participation in the Board of Directors myself and pay for it personally to avoid getting tangled up in any of the financial or other problems the company was or might have become involved in.
